NordicTrack Treadmills
NordicTrack treadmills are by far the most popular home exercise machines on the market today, and for good reason. Their machines offer features, capabilities and technology that you just don’t find anywhere else…especially for the price.
The NordicTrack brand is owned by ICON Health and Fitness (now called iFit Health), a company that also makes ProForm, Healthrider, Freemotion, Weider, Weslo, Gold’s Gym and the popular iFit workout technology. But NordicTrack is their biggest seller, and the treadmills seem to get better and better every year.

NordicTrack Treadmill Reviews – A Look at the Models
There are a number of NordicTrack treadmills to choose from, starting with the more affordable EXP Series and moving up to the more advanced Commercial Series and Incline Trainers. There’s something for every fitness level and every budget, which consumers really appreciate.
Let’s take a brief look at all three series…
EXP Series
The brand new EXP Series replaced the popular T Series and consists of the EXP 7i, the EXP 10i, and top of the line EXP 14i, the latest addition to the lineup.
All three have been upgraded with touch screen consoles, incline capability (plus decline on the EXP 10i and EXP14i), free iFit workouts for 30 days and enhanced technology.
Extras included FlexSelect cushioning, AutoBreeze workout fan, tablet holder, accessory tray and of course, iFit technology, which all models currently have.
Commercial Series
The popular Commercial Series is a big step up from the EXP Series and includes the new Commercial 1250, best-selling Commercial 1750 along with the top of the line 2450.
Here you have flat screen touch screens on all models, stronger 3.0-3.6 CHP motors, incline as well as decline capability, advanced cushioning and roomier 22″ x 60″ runners decks.
* Note that as of June 2024 there is no free trial for iFit!
Incline Trainers
The Incline Trainers take the Commercial Series treadmills to the next level.
You have the popular X22i and top-of-the-line X32i, both of which ramp up the incline to an industry leading 40% as well as unmatched -6% decline capability to really take things to the next level.
In late 2024 the company added two new models: the X16 treadmill & the X24 treadmill. It looks like these might replace the X22i and X32i models.
The Incline Trainers have all of the features and comforts of the Commercial treadmills, with even more advanced Reflex cushioning to reduce impact on your knees and joints.
So that’s a rundown of the three main series. There are also Desk Treadmills if that’s what you are looking for. Regardless of which model you choose, you’ll get an impressive cardio machine with more features and capabilities than most other treadmills on the market today.

What You Need to Know About NordicTrack Treadmills
As a general rule, NordicTrack sells very good treadmills with competitive features at very affordable prices. They were the first to add features such as decline and Android touch screen monitors, and they continue to lead the way as far as technology is concerned.
They have also become known for their iFit workout program, which allows you to tap into hundreds of specially designed workouts, track and share your results and choose any location worldwide via Google maps and watch it unfold on your tablet, smart phone or even on many NordicTrack treadmill displays.
Let’s look at some of the best features of the brand…
Workout Diversity
All treadmills have at least 25 preset workouts built right into the console. Also, all machines are iFit compatible or enabled, adding even more professionally designed workouts to choose from.
Strong Frame/Motor Warranty
You receive at least a ten year warranty for the frame and motor as well as a solid warranty on parts and labor. They have some of the best coverage of any similarly priced brand.
Features/Capabilities
NordicTrack treadmills come with just about everything you could ask for and more: tons of programs, incline/decline, well cushioned generously sized decks, music integration, speaker system, heart rate monitoring, tracking and sharing, easy folding, transport wheels…the list goes on and on.
You’d be hard pressed to find this many features anywhere else, even on high end treadmills.
NordicTrack Treadmill Buying Tips – Some Help For You
When you decide to purchase a NordicTrack treadmill, make sure you check their promotions. They have sales going on almost all the time, and you can find terrific bargains for all of their latest models.
The second recommendation is to buy a treadmill with iFIT included. It doesn’t matter if you get the touch screen system or not (although it’s a neat feature). iFIT connects you to a large workout variety and automatically adjusts both the speed and the incline to match the workout. It does require a yearly fee but it is well worth it in our opinion (and free for 30 days on some models).
Their Commercial Series, including the 1250, 1750 and 2450 is the most popular, and these machines are more durable and have more features than the lower priced EXP Series. If you have the budget, one of these is your best bet. However, the EXP Series treadmills are perfectly fine for home use if you’re looking in the lower price ranges.
