Enhanced Smart HD Display

The Commercial 2450 model improves upon the 1750 with a 22″ Smart HD touch screen.

(Note that the new 1750 now has a 14″ touch display as well, replacing the previous 10″ one.)

On the large touch screen you can tap into the iFit technology for on-demand or live in studio workouts or to simulate running anywhere in the world with Google maps.

You can check your workout stats such as calories burned, speed, distance, etc. and track and share your progress for added motivation.

Heart Rate Monitoring

Use the hand grip monitors and measure your heart rate throughout your workout to ensure that you are in your ideal zone. The 2450 also has Bluetooth heart rate monitoring for more accuracy but the monitor is not included.

Diverse Workouts

The NordicTrack Commercial 2450 comes with an impressive array of built-in workouts including calorie, heart rate, incline, intervals and speed.

On top of thus you have the iFit library of workouts, as we mentioned above, which includes an unlimited supply of exclusive workouts for you to choose from.

With iFit you can work out 1 on 1 with certified personal trainers across the world or right in the studio like your favorite gym class. You can also work out off the treadmill with yoga, stretching, cross training, weights and more.

iFit is always adding new programs to choose from, whether you are a beginner, a serious runner, or anything in between. There are endles choices for you.

Large Belt Size

The NordicTrack Commercial 2450 comes with one of the largest running belts on the market today: 22″ wide by 60″ long and well cushioned so you have plenty of space for your walks, jogs, and runs regardless of how tall you are.

(Note that the base NordicTrack Commercial 1250 is a bit narrower at 20″)

Impressive Incline and Decline

With the 2450 you can set the incline up to 15% for a more intense workout, and even decline the machine up to 3%, something you don’t get elsewhere, especially at this price level.

Incline and decline training not only ramp up the cardio element but also target muscle groups in the lower body that you don’t normal hit with a treadmill.

Additional Features

In addition to everything above you get three auto-adjusting fans, an accessory tray, Bluetooth audio music connection, one-touch control and SpaceSaver Technology to easily fold the treadmill up and store it wherever you want.

You won’t find many other treadmills in this price range with nearly as many features built in.

NordicTrack Commercial 2450 Review - Conclusion

There’s not much to complain about when it comes to the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 treadmill, or any of the other Commercial series models that the company offers.

These are solid, well-built cardio machines that offer all of the bells and whistles typically reserved for more expensive treadmills.

The new version of iFit, which does require a subscription fee (although the company sometimes gives you your first month free), gives you plenty of workouts to choose from, tracking capability, nutrition suggestions and a lot more.

You can adjust the feel of the belt, mimicking running outside or softening it for minimal impact, again something you typically find on pricier treadmills from companies like TRUE.

This machine is quiet and strong, is well-designed and offers a nice size touch screen. The bottom line here is this treadmill offers everything you will ever need to ensure you will never be bored working out.

If you’re interested in a solid treadmill packed with features for under $2500 on sale, definitely check out the new NordicTrack Commercial 2450.

Take a look at the 1750 as well while you are there…another one of our top picks.
