NordicTrack Commercial 1250

Overview
The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 is a new NordicTrack treadmill first introduced back in 2023. It joins the Commercial 1750 and top end 2450 to round out the popular series.
All of these treadmills feature an endless library of interactive iFIT workouts, incline as well as decline training capability, good cushioning, large running surfaces and touch screen displays, something you still don’t find on many competitor’s treadmill.
The 1250 is a great choice for those looking for something a bit more advanced but without the hefty price tag of higher end treadmills. It’s just packed with extras, which is why it’s sure to be as popular as its Commercial Series counterparts.
Let’s jump into our review to see what it’s all about…

Best Features
Incline & Decline Capability
While most decent treadmills will give you incline to some degree (no put intended), all of the Commercial Series machines also give you decline training, which is rare. The Commercial 1250 inclines to 12% and declines to -3% to target different muscle groups.
Note that the up-level Commercial 1750 and top end 2450 give you now offer the same amount of incline & decline)
Touch Screen Technology
As we mentioned, the Commercial 1250 gives you a 10″ touch screen display that is also adjustable so you can turn it however you like for workouts both on the treadmill and off.
The touch screen gives you more of that health club experience, and you can see all of your workout metrics right on the screen as opposed to on the LED displays found on most competitor treadmills.
Note that the 1750 and 2450 give you larger touch screens, the main difference between all three machines.
iFIT Workouts
One of the biggest draws of the Commercial 1250, and all of the other NordicTrack treadmills for that matter, is the built in iFIT technology.
iFit is a membership-based program that gives you an ever-growing list of trainer led workouts to choose from, either live like Peloton or on-demand like some of the others.
There’s Google map integration so you can choose exotic locations all over the world for your virtual runs. You can also choose no running workouts that can be done off the machine like strength training and yoga.
You’re able to track, share and set fitness goals, along with a host of other features. You can learn more about iFit here.
Space Saving Design
The Commercial Series treadmills have something called SpaceSaver folding design, which allows you to quickly and easily fold up the machine after a workout to free up space.
If you’ve ever used a non-folding treadmill before you’ll appreciate the convenience of a folding model. The 1250 is very easy to fold up and unfold again when you’re ready to work out.
Advanced Technologies
With each new model introduction NordicTrack incorporates new technologies, and the Commercial 1250 is no different. Two such technologies are AutoAdjust and ActivePulse.
AutoAdjust automatically changes both the speed and the incline of your iFIT workouts so you don’t have to do it manually. This makes the transitions dfrom one level to the next much more seamless.
ActivePulse also automatically adjusts your incline and speed, but this is to keep you in your ideal heart rate zone.
Tons of Extra Features
On top of the incline/decline, touch screens, space saving design and advanced technologies, you also get a built-in fan, large 22″ x 60″ running deck, Bluetooth headphone/heart rate, speeds to 12 mph, quiet drive incline technology and an integrated media tray.
When you add up all that the 1250 offers you realize just how competitively priced it is.
Conclusions
With the new Commercial 1250, NordicTrack proves once again they deserve all the recognition they get. It is a quality treadmill with tons of features at a relatively affordable price.
Pros
The Commercial 1250 is built to support taller and heavier users that will find the lengthy running surface and the powerful motor quite attractive.
There’s nothing more tedious than pressing buttons during hard workouts. If you agree, you’ll find the 1-Touch feature quite interesting. Any display or console changes you want to perform during workout, simply touch the proper button. It makes workouts so easy and it’s definitely worth the extra cash. Plus with iFit the machine adjusts automatically.
The cool thing about the fan is that it speeds up as you speed up, you only have to activate the auto mode. This feature is great to cool off your core when you reach the intensity peak.
If you’re the entertainment kind, you should know that speakers rate well as far as quality goes.
Also, if you enjoy interactive workouts, you’ll be happy to know that this console features Google Maps, which means you can run throughout the world at any time. That’s something you won’t find elsewhere.
Drawbacks
As far as functionality goes, we can’t argue. We’ve only been pleasantly surprised by this machine. It works amazingly well, looks nice and folding is easy. Sure, it’s a heavy unit, so don’t be a hero.
The only drawback is that although it is well priced, it may be out of reach for some people. At just under $1,999 on sale, it’s not for everyone.
If you do want to save a little bit take a look at the T Series as well. It’s not at the level of the Commercial Series, but those treadmills are solid as well, and you’re not sacrificing much.
