ProForm Thinline Pro Desk Treadmill Review

There is no need to spend hours trying to put together all the parts as the machine comes fully assembled. In a couple of steps, you can set up the treadmill and get started with your training.

The ProForm Thinline Pro has an innovatively designed console which folds into a desktop. This unique design allows you to use the machine both as a desk treadmill as well as a regular treadmill.

When you want to work, you can lower the console and use the desktop surface. When you want to train, you can just leave the console up.

The desktop is also height-adjustable. It can be moved 14 inches up or down. So, the machine can be used by multiple users.

The Thinline Pro is packed with excellent features and can be used as a stand-alone treadmill.

It has a powerful 3.0 CHP motor to support your training sessions (an upgrade from the base Thinline Desk Treadmill which offers a 2.75 CHP motor). It has a 22” x 60” track, which is larger than the tracks found in most mid-range treadmills.

It inclines up to 12% and declines down to 3%. The incline/decline training feature helps you lose weight and get in shape quickly. It also allows you to build your cardio and tone your muscles.

It offers a total of 40 built-in training programs – more than what most high-end treadmills offer. It is also iFit enabled with the wireless module already built in. All you need is an iFit subscription and you can download personalized workout programs, access a library of workout videos, get tips and instructions from fitness experts, simulate real-life runs using Google Maps, and do lots more.

As you can clearly see, even without the desktop feature, the Thinline Pro is a seriously good treadmill. It is just as good as any mid-range treadmill in terms of build, design, and the features offered.

The 7″ backlit display makes it easy for you to choose the workout programs you want. You can take a look at the programs available, choose one, and press ‘start’. Once you do, the treadmill adjusts its incline, decline, and speed automatically.

The machine also has built-in Quick Controls in the handlebars that allow you to adjust the incline, decline, or speed any time you want instantly.

The treadmill is programmed to sync with your tablet. It allows you to adjust the speed, incline, and decline using your tablet. Another cool and unique feature we haven’t seen anywhere else.

Just like the standard Thinline desk treadmill, the Thinline Pro too has 1.9″ rear rollers. It is slightly disappointing as the larger 2.5” rollers would have been a better option for the more advanced treadmill. Larger rollers play a key role in the performance and longevity of the tread belt. Still, if that’s the only negative we’ll take it.

The ProForm Thinline Pro is, without question, is a very good desk treadmill. It has a neatly designed height-adjustable desktop and it rivals most mid-range treadmills in terms of the features offered. On the whole, it is an impressive machine and gives great value for your money.
