Pros

Features You Just Don't Find For the Price

Considering that the Pro 1000 is under $1,000 when it’s on sale, it’s amazing the amount of treadmill that you are getting.

You have a powerful 3.0 CHP motor, a 20″ x 60″ belt that can accommodate all users, up to 12 mph and 12% incline, plus advanced cushioning and 325 lb. weight capacity.

You will not find all of that anywhere for this price. It just doesn’t exist.

iFit Coach Technology

The entire Pro series, including the step-up Pro 2000 treadmill, comes with iFit Coach, a fully immersive program that gives you additional professionally designed workouts, on top of the 22 built into the machine already, sharing and tracking capability, and Google map integration to choose any destination in the world.

The coolest part is that the Pro 1000 will automatically adjust its incline level to match the terrain that you pick. That feature alone is worth the $99 yearly fee!

Speace Saver Design

Usually when you get a treadmill with this many features it is heavy and doesn’t fold. This one has the unique Space Saver Design, which enables it to very simply fold up with an easy push in a matter of seconds so you can store it out of the way after your workout.

Extra Features

The Pro 1000 also has heart rate monitoring, a CoolAire workout fan with two settings, an integrated tablet holder and iPod audio for your music, along with a very generous warranty.

Cons

There really aren’t many negatives that we can point out with the ProForm Pro 1000, especially given the extraordinary price tag.

But if we had to nitpick, it doesn’t offer wireless heart rate monitoring like the other Pro series models do, including the Pro 5000 treadmill.

It also doesn’t have a touch screen display like the 5000 and the top of the line Pro 9000 model, but again, for under $1000, you really can’t expect everything and this one comes pretty close.

Conclusion

The ProForm Pro 1000 is a great choice for those looking for an affordable treadmill that doesn’t skimp on features and capabilities.

You have incline, good speed, large deck, cushioning, iFit technology, music integration, tons of workouts and a solid warranty, all for $999. You really can’t ask for more than that.

If you want a touch screen and wireless heart rate monitoring take a look at the rest of the Pro Series as well…all are great choices and Run Review Best Buys.
