Endurance is slow and steady, Tempo is your heart rate zone and Peak is your cardio max. So you keep yourself in your ideal heart rate zone over the course of your workout.

You can access the iFit Coach as well via your smart phone or tablet which gives you a host of additional workouts, personalized nutrition information, tracking as well as Google maps to run anywhere worldwide.

There are two grip sensors where you can get your heart rate reading at any point during your workout.

The Performance 600i has 22 onboard workouts, including 4 calorie workouts, 4 interval workouts, 4 speed and 4 endurance workouts.

When you want to use one of these workouts, press Calorie, Interval, Speed or Endure repeatedly and press Enter. The displays will then show you max incline, duration, distance, max speed and the name of the workout. Also, you’ll have the approximate no of calories for Calorie workouts.

Press Start or Speed increase. Alter incline and speed by pressing the Incline and Speed buttons. Use the displays for monitoring your progress and check out your heart rate when needed. You have a fan you can turn on anytime you need to cool off.

For iFit workouts, create your account and use the iFit buttons.

ProForm Performance 600i Review - Conclusions

ProForm has done a fine job once again with the Performance 600i. This is a sturdy, quality treadmill that we recommend to medium height walkers and light joggers, less to taller users and avid runners.

There is a great deal of advantages that convinced us of the functionality of this treadmill.

Pros

Starting with the motor, you’ll be getting just what you need to back up intensity and high inclines. It is powerful enough to sustain tough workouts.

Then there is the belt that is above average, and more than ample for tall users.

Workouts are diverse enough to make your money worth it. Depending on your needs, you can choose between calorie, interval, speed and endurance workouts.

The available incline and speed levels are more than enough for what you’ll need. We’re quite satisfied with the available calorie workouts. We lost the extra pounds efficiently, injury free and with some extra luxuries such as the cooling fan.

Speaking of injuries, the cushion system is incredibly efficient. After maximum intensity workouts, our bodies feel as good as new. And the Intensity Control feature comes in handy when you want to make intensity changes during the program. Also, speed and incline adjustments are as easy as pressing a button.

Warranty adds up to what this treadmill can offer. 2 years for parts may not seem much, but for the price you’ll pay, it’s satisfactory.

This treadmill has iFit Coach. This is a great plus. Not only you get workout diversity, but it is also quite motivating.

Although treadmills are good workout machines, they may get boring from time to time. With Google Maps, you’ll be free to work out wherever you want. Just pick your track and get started. During the program, you’ll be shown pictures of the chosen landscape.

The cushioning is high quality, the folding is easy to perform and you won’t have to break the bank to get this valuable machine.

Cons

Not too many drawbacks here. It does have a lot of good features and capabilities.

However, you can get the much better Power 1295i treadmill for about the same price, so we would absolutely go for that one instead.

Bottom Line

At the end of the day, the ProForm Performance 600i treadmill is an absolute winner.

You get incline capability, a very capable motor, iFit Coach, a Watts Power Display, solid cushioning and a wide array of built in workout programs for under $700…that’s a steal!

Take a look at the Power 995i as well as it’s only a hundred or so dollars more and gives you a ton of upgrades.
