Nautilus T618 - Best Features

Workout Diversity

The Nautilus T618 gives you 26 different workout programs to choose from, including heart rate, interval training, calories and custom. The machine monitors your progress and even gives you a fitness score at the end of your workout.

Advanced Cushioning System

One of the nicest features on the new T618 is the Exclusive Rebound Cushioning System. The most advanced deck offered by Nautilus, it provides a softer landing to minimize impact on knees and joints. The deck is also triple ply, and wider than any other Nautilus treadmill, including the entry level T614 model, at 20″ x 60″. It can accommodate users of any size comfortably.

Heart Rate Monitoring

Another nice feature on the new Performance Series models is a free wireless chest strap included for more accurate readings.

This really helps you dial in when it comes to the cardio programs, as wireless readings are always more accurate than the grips, although you can use whichever one you are more comfortable with.

Tracking Capability

The T618 has Bluetooth capability, as does the mid-range T616 treadmill, which allows you to sync your workout results with your favorite fitness apps via Nautilus Connect, or use the company’s Trainer app.

Tracking is becoming more and more popular, giving you the ability to monitor your progress, set fitness goals for yourself and even share your results with family and friends for motivation.

Direct competitors such as the Sole F65 and Sole F80 also recently added tracking capability.

Other Great Features

Some of the other nice touches on the Nautilus T618 treadmill include DualTrack console, powerful 3.5 CHP motor, incline and speed controls on the handrails for easy access, and a towel/accessory bar built in.

It comes with an easy to read manual that explains all of its features and capabilities.

Nautilus T618 Review - Conclusions

Pros

The new T618 is definitely a step up from the previous top of the line T616, with a stronger build, better cushioning and much more functionality.

You get a large runner’s deck, heavy max user weight capacity, incline, a ton of workout programs and heart rate monitoring with free wireless chest strap included.

You also get tracking and sharing ability that helps keep you moving towards your fitness goals.

So there’s a lot to like here.

Cons

The only real negative is the fact that the warranty on the frame and motor isn’t great.

They have stepped up the parts/electronics to 5 years and 2 years on labor, which is very good, but still only 15 years on the frame and motor.

At $1000+, it would be nice to have a lifetime warranty on the frame, as you typically get elsewhere.

Bottom Line

If you can get it around $1000, the new Nautilus T618 is the best treadmill in the company’s lineup and definitely worth a look. You can usually find it for sale at Amazon.

It has enough features to help you lose weight, get into shape or whatever your fitness goals may be.

We do recommend that you opt for an extended warranty though just to cover yourself on the frame should something go wrong.
