NordicTrack Commercial 1750

NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill Review

Overview

The new Commercial 1750 builds upon what has long been one of the most popular treadmills in NordicTrack’s lineup.

With a strong motor, a large tilt & pivot touchscreen, thousands of iFIT workouts, and a SpaceSaver folding design, you’ll be hard pressed to find another machine with this combination of performance and features at this price.

The 1750 has always been one of NordicTrack’s best-selling models because it appeals to such a wide range of users. It’s comfortable enough for walking, capable enough for serious runners, and offers enough technology to keep your workouts from becoming repetitive.

It’s also one of the few treadmills in its class to offer both incline and decline training, opening the door to a much wider variety of workouts than you’ll find on many competing models.

There’s really nothing missing on the 1750, which is why it’s been one of our top picks for many years.

NordicTrack Commercial 1750 - Best Features

Huge Selection of Workout Options

As we mentioned above, all of the NordicTrack treadmills come with iFIT, one of the most engaging fitness platforms available today.

You can tap into a huge library of workouts, track and share your results with friends and choose a location anywhere in the world with Google maps and it’s as if you are actually working out there.

The Commercial 1750 adjusts its own speed, incline and decline to match whatever workout you choose, so you don’t have to make those adjustments yourself and can concentrate on your run.

iFIT does require a subscription fee, but in our opinion it’s well worth it for all of the features and capabilities that it offers. They are constantly adding new elements to iFIT to make it even more enjoyable.

Power Incline and Decline For Greater Variety

The NordicTrack 1750 gives you a generous 12 degrees of power incline to choose from, plus up to 3 degrees of decline.

This allows you to target different muscle groups effectively, and changes up your workouts to give you a real challenge.

Decline capability is typically only found on much more expensive treadmills, so having this added feature is a real benefit. It’s like downhill training outdoors.

All of the Commercial Series treadmills, including the new NordicTrack Commercial 1250 provide the same incline/decline capability, which is one of the reasons why these machines are so popular.

Note that Sole, one of NordicTrack’s main competitors, only offers decline on its higher end models, so keep that in mind if you’re comparing the two.

Enhanced Smart HD Touch Display

The Commercial 1750 has a brand new 16″ tilt and pivot HD touchscreen (up from 14″ on the previous model) with all of the relevant workout stats on a clear, bright enhanced display.

NordicTrack was one of the first companies to offer touch screens, and is currently the only one to feature touch screens on all models, from the entry level T10 all the way up to the X24.

It definitely makes your workouts more enjoyable, especially when you select an exotic location via iFIT for your run and you can watch it all unfold in front of you.

The Commercial Series treadmills come with 10″, 16″ or 24″ touch screens,so consider that if you’re choosing between the three, as that is one of the few differences between the models.

Comprehensive Warranty For Peace of Mind

When we first started reviewing the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 years ago, the warranty on it as well as the other Commercial Series treadmills wasn’t great, which gave us pause in recommending it.

However, over time the warranty has improved considerably, and currently it’s the best that it has ever been.

You get lifetime coverage on the motor, which is the most important component, and 10 years on the frame. You also get 2 years on parts and 1 year on tablet and labor.

Although it’s not the most comprehensive warranty you’ll find out there, it’s pretty strong compared to similarly priced treadmills, and definitely a step in the right direction for the company.

Other Great Features

The NordicTrack Commercial 1750 gives you a lot of features and capabilities on top of what we highlight above.

You get a well-cushioned 22″ x 60″ deck, up from 20″ on previous versions of the 1750.

You have easy folding capability, a strong 4.35 CHP motor, an AutoBreeze fan, water bottle holders, Bluetooth connectivity, speakers, chargers and more.

Another new feature on the Commercial 1750 and the rest of the lineup is streaming capability through iFIT. For years you weren’t able to watch Netflix or YouTube on NordicTrack treadmills…but now you can which gives you another option to entertain yourself while you’re working out.

Is the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Right For You?

Who Should Buy It

The Commercial 1750 is a great choice if you’re looking for a treadmill that can grow with you over time. Whether you’re just starting a walking program, training for your first race, or running several times a week, it has the performance and versatility to support a wide range of fitness goals.

It’s also an excellent fit if you enjoy variety in your workouts. The combination of incline and decline training, along with iFIT’s extensive workout library, makes it easy to mix things up and stay motivated. Rather than repeating the same workout day after day, you have access to trainer-led classes, scenic runs from around the world, and workouts that automatically adjust the treadmill as you exercise.

If you’re looking for a treadmill that combines strong performance with one of the best interactive workout experiences available today, the Commercial 1750 continues to be one of our top recommendations. It offers a great balance of technology, comfort, and value that’s hard to match in this price range.

Who Shouldn't Buy It

The Commercial 1750 probably isn’t the best choice if you’re looking for a basic treadmill to simply walk or jog a few times a week. While it can certainly handle those workouts, many of its biggest advantages come from the iFIT platform, and you’ll be paying for features you may not fully utilize.

It’s also not the right fit if you have no interest in using iFIT. The 1750 is designed around an interactive fitness experience, with trainer-led workouts, automatic speed and incline adjustments, and personalized recommendations.

If those features don’t appeal to you, a Sole treadmill is definitely worth considering. Sole’s newer models also include touchscreens but they come with a number of built in programs as well as a free workout app. It’s not as comprehensive as iFIT but it is sufficient enough.

Finally, if you’re looking for a true commercial treadmill for a gym or expect multiple users to put thousands of miles on the machine every year, we’d recommend stepping up to a non-folding commercial model designed specifically for that type of environment.

Our Take on the NordicTrack Commercial 1750

The Commercial 1750 has been one of our favorite treadmills for years, and that’s because it consistently delivers the best overall balance of performance, features, and value in NordicTrack’s lineup. While the company offers both less expensive and more premium models, the 1750 is the one we find ourselves recommending most often.

If you’re considering one of the T Series treadmills to save some money, the 1750 is a noticeable step up. The larger touchscreen, stronger motor, incline and decline capability, larger running surface, and overall build quality make it feel like a much more substantial machine. For anyone planning to use their treadmill regularly, we think the extra investment is well worth it.

On the other end of the lineup are the Commercial 2450 and X Series treadmills. They’re excellent machines in their own right, but they also come with a significantly higher price tag.

The 2450 offers a larger touchscreen and a few additional premium refinements, while the X Series is really geared toward buyers who want the most extreme incline and decline capabilities available for home use.

If hiking workouts or steep hill training are a priority, the X Series is worth a look. For everyone else, we think the 1750 strikes the better balance between features, performance, and price.

The 1250 is also worth mentioning. It’s a solid treadmill that shares many of the same design elements as the 1750, but if your budget can stretch a little further, we’d still lean toward the 1750. The larger display, stronger overall feature set, and additional performance make it the better long-term investment.

At the end of the day, the Commercial 1750 hits the sweet spot. It offers enough performance for serious runners, enough technology to keep workouts interesting, and enough value that you don’t feel like you’re paying for features you’ll never use.

If we were buying a NordicTrack for our own home, the 1750 would still be the model we’d choose.

How does this compare to the C1650?

    1. admin in reply to CH

The NordicTrack C1650 is the top level model in the more affordable C Series, while the Commercial 1750 is the base model in the upper-end Commercial Series. Both are great treadmills, but the Commercial series is more durable, closer to something you would find at the gym. The 1750 has a stronger motor, more workouts, more incline, wider deck and also decline capability that the 1650 does not have.

I have a NordicTrack treadmill for 5 years.
I hate to pay monthly just to be able to custom program it.
Now I am looking for a new Treadmill that can be programmed and definitely not iFit Treadmill…!

  3. Teddy

Is this model suitable to calorie burn walking and jogging? I can’t run too fast, because I have some problem with my back.

    1. admin in reply to Teddy

Absolutely. It has good cushioning to help reduce impact and you can either walk or jog manually or choose one of the many built in workouts. With iFit, you can choose any destination worldwide via Google maps and it’s as if you are actually working out there. Pretty cool.

  4. Linda

I am assuming it does work without the IFit. Right

    1. admin in reply to Linda

Yes, the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 and the rest of the treadmill lineup will work without the iFit, but it adds a whole new dimension to your workout. You get tracking and sharing capability, you can work out with trainers across the world via Google maps, you can do in-class training like you are at your local health club. There’s a lot to it and users really enjoy all that it has to offer.

    Hello,

Does the C1750 model Canadian Tire sell differ from buying it direct for Nordic Track? In terms of quality of parts? I see one difference in the screen size an number of pre loaded programs however, none of those are a deal breaker foe me. Thanks

    1. admin in reply to Cher

I’m not sure which one they sell at Canadian Tire. However as of this writing there is a brand new 2026 Commercial 1750 which you can definitely get directly from NordicTrack.

Update: Canadian Tire currently sells some of the older T Series NordicTrack treadmills and the X24 incline treadmill. They’re not carrying the Commercial Series for some reason.

  6. Annie Taylor

What can I do on this machine without ifit? Are there manual programs on the machinery? How many? Can I use a tablet and play music while in manual mode?

    1. admin in reply to Annie Taylor

Yes there are also a number of built-in workouts to choose from if you don’t continue with iFit after the initial free month. You can use your tablet and play music in manual mode, yes.
