This treadmill comes with a special feature: the body arms. This system allows training the upper body while doing the regular walking exercises. This is a feature we definitely like.

The treadmill comes also with Interactive Audio CrossTrainer which is very nice to have. A virtual coach prompts you during training when to do different types of exercises.

On the other hand the warranty for parts is a little too short (90 days only) so you may want to pick up extra coverage on checkout.

As a conclusion, this is an economy training machine and while it’s known as one of the best CrossWalk models on the market you have to remember that ProForm CrossWalk 500 Treadmill will not keep up with a heavy runner. But if you want a decent treadmill plus the option to train the upper body you don’t have to look further.
