4 Great New Treadmills For 2017 That Are Worth Checking Out!
Every year we pick out 4 new treadmills that are hitting the market that we believe will have the biggest impact. For 2017 there are a lot to choose from, but we narrowed it down to this handful of exciting new machines.
So, without further ado, here are the five most exciting 2017 treadmills and what they have to offer…
1. The NordicTrack X22i Incline Trainer – We just had to start our list with this beast. The new 2017 X22i joins the X7i, X9i and X11i as the new top of the line model, and offers a huge 22″ Smart HD touch screen with built in internet, up to a 40% incline and 6% decline, plus iFit Coach Plus technology, 44 built in workouts and get this…two adjustable dumbbells with a rack on either side of the treadmill for an upper body workout. Add the OneTouch controls, Reflex cushioning and 4.25 CHP motor and you’ve got yourself one monster of a machine. This one is sure to be a hit.
2. ProForm Power 1295i – ProForm added a new up-level model to its popular Power series. Improving upon the base 995i model, the Power 1295i offers a 3.5 CHP motor, 20″ x 60″ deck, 15% incline, iFit Coach, 34 workouts and a 7″ Smart HD touch display with built in internet. It has everything you need…power, adjustability, features and capabilities…to get you going in the right direction towards your fitness goals.
3. The New Matrix Treadmills – OK so this is not a single treadmill, but the company is just entering the residential market for the first time after dominating the commercial market. There are four new offerings for the higher-end home market: the TF30, TF50, T50 and T70, all promising to give Life Fitness and Precor a run for their money. Check out the Matrix treadmills here.
4. New NordicTrack Commercial Series – also not a single treadmill, but the entire Commercial series was redesigned for 2017. The popular Commercial 1750, 2450 and 2950 models now have iFit Coach with Bluetooth Technology featuring personal trainer designed workouts, customized nutrition programs, sharing and tracking tools and Google map integration to run anywhere in the world. Plus, each one now features a Smart HD display with internet access built in.
So there you have 4 new treadmills (plus a few more) to check out in 2017. NordicTrack and ProForm tend to update/improve their models a lot more often than most companies, but you’ll find some new features and capabilities on many other models as well.
As we move into 2017, look for treadmills with more interactive features, more touch screens, more internet connectivity and more goal based workouts. With all of these new things, it’s getting harder and harder to skip cardio day! 🙂
