Conclusions

For the money paid ($1,400), we love this treadmill. The thing is that we love the new technology it comes with most of all (Touch Screen Option). Although it’s not the first treadmill that comes with this feature, and it has limitations, we like having it on our treadmill.

Our experience confirms you can never buy for less and have everything. And this treadmill fits perfectly with the saying: if it’s too good to be true, than it isn’t. But we will start with its advantages first.

This machine is excellent for regular training. Components quality is decent but not excellent. This is why the extended warranty offer is worth the money more than the standard version (only 1 year is too little).

We like the workouts a lot, especially the fact that you can enter the weight info before starting to work out. With this control the number of calories burned is more realistic (although still not 100% accurate).

We also appreciate the iFIT Fitness Journal because it can track past records and this way allowing you to keep track of progress. Still, keep count it sums feedback and it doesn’t reflect individual effort (in case more than 1 use the treadmill).

Another attraction is the Head-to-Head competitions option. Having a virtual competitor that is constantly trying to beat you is quite a challenge and makes you burn more calories without even thinking about it that much. This is a way to distract you from the general boredom feeling a treadmill can induce (and it works).

Another plus is the extra long 60″ belt which offers plenty of room to move, walk, run or jog. Plus you can fold it and save space.

The belt and motor are not the best and don’t count they can’t take intensive training hours daily, but the adjustable cushion system is a great asset as it massively reduces impact over your joints and makes the workout more efficient.

As we said above, it has disadvantages. The highest is the poor warranty and questionable components quality. This is why we don’t recommend it for intensive usage, but for moderate training (you can even run on it, but don’t overstress it daily, more than a couple of hours totally).

Other details are the poor fan and sound system. But these items can be easily overcome. Assemble is difficult. So is folding/unfolding and moving it around. Pay attention to not hurt you and call someone to help at need.

Overall, this is a great treadmill model that we highly recommend it as a good buy.
