Check the Sole F80 Treadmill Review (2011 review)
——————————–
The Sole F80 is definitely the best buy in mid range treadmills category (between $1000 and $2000). That is why you will not see many complaints from our part in this review. This machine is superb, satisfies all needs of a regular user and is one of the best treadmills ever built.
It comes with a powerful 3.0 CHP motor that can reach challenging speeds. The belt and the cushioning systems are advanced and it should reduce the impact over your joints with 40% less than road running.
Six preset workouts and the sound system with mp3 dock add extra value to this sturdy machine.
1. Speed: 0-11 mph
Top speed reached is 11 miles per hour. You can easily adjust it through the side bar buttons.
2. Inclination: 0-15%
The incline of the machine can be set between 0 and 15 %. Same as speed you can adjust the incline of the belt via the sidebar buttons. The incline system has a rack and pinion gear design.
3. Motor
This Sole Treadmill is equipped with a powerful 3.0 CHP motor that allows pushing the machine to challenging speeds during training sessions.

The Sole F80 treadmill includes six preset programs that automatically adjust incline and speed during workouts. There are listed also two customizable and two cardio programs.
MP3 Dock
The F80’s console has 3 built in speakers to make training sessions much more pleasant. We tested and you can connect your iPod to the Mp3 dock system added in the console.
Heart Rate Monitoring Systems
The treadmill comes with 2 heart monitoring systems. You can check your pulse by using a wireless chest strap or with the hand pulse grips.
Sole F80 Treadmill can sustain a maximum user weight of 350 lbs.
The following functions and features are also included: speed and incline controls on the arm rests, cooling fans and a big stop switch.
First of all Sole F80 has a fantastic warranty. You realize that this machine is a very good one just by looking at the warranty. You get lifetime for motor, deck and frame and 5 years for things like electronics or belt.
The console has a nice design, pleasant display and with six built in workouts. What we especially like is that the 2 built in fans blow enough air to cool you down during training.
The machine is very quiet during workouts. At the end of the training you can easily fold it and store it in a different place.
We highly recommend the Sole F80 treadmill. You can look for other models or brands but we think it’s impossible to find a better machine for this price. Other info about this unit can be found here.
WHERE do you plug in your mp3 player on Sole F80??
Hi Ruth,
On the left side of the console you have 2 jacks (one with the headset symbol and above another one with a musical note symbol). Use the one with the musical symbol for MP3 dock.
Happy running!

Hi,
I don’t see any place that indicates jacks on the left of the console of my F80 Treadmill. Do you have a picture of this or more specific instructions on where they are supposed to be located?
Thanks!
@ Rebecca – if you look at the second picture from above, you’ll see that the jacks for audio are on the left side of the console, at the same level with the “up”, “down”, “enter” buttons row.
if i buy this treadmill, how much assembly is involved? is there home delivery, would it be brought into my home?
@ Lisa – the treadmill needs assembly. You can choose to receive the treadmill at home (they leave it at your door and you take care of assembly). For extra money you can ask them to deliver the treadmill inside your house and you assembly the treadmill. And for even more money you can buy option to have the treadmill delivered and assembled by them. If you assembly the treadmill and you follow the manual, you should’t have problems. But you need some one to help you.
