The 15.6 inch TFT LCD touch display gives you feedback on speed, incline, time, distance, calories, pulse and pace.

You can also access built in apps like YouTube and Netflix to help make the time pass faster.

There is a ¼ mile track and a peak-and-valley graph for several programs. An integrated message board displays a report of your workout once you’re finished, and has scrolling features enabled.

Incline and speed can be easily adjusted by pressing the Increase/ Decrease buttons on the console or handrail. Or you can simply press the numbers on console.

You can use the hand pulse grips, with incline/ speed controls included, or the wireless chest strap, which is included for free.

The wireless strap will give you more accurate readings so they are ideal for the two cardio programs built into the machine.

The Sole F85 console features 6 Standard programs, 2 Custom and 2 Heart Rate programs. Press the program you want out of the 10 program selections. Press Enter and insert time, weight, age and speed. Start the workout.

For user defined programs, select User 1 or 2 from the program keypad. Press Enter and insert time, weight, age and speed and incline settings. Press Start.

Heart rate programs are divided into Weight control and Cardiovascular programs. Press HR1 or HR2. Adjust heart rate, weight, age and time. Press Start.

The Sole F85 treadmill is solid through and through. Not only does this machine work extremely well, and satisfyingly quiet at low speeds, but it also ensures your safety, no matter how intensely you want to go at it. It is a nice upgrade to the popular F80 model as well.

There are a few small cons, but they are by far offset by all the advantages.

First of all, this treadmill is seriously well-built. So you get amazing quality, and folding capability.

You get plenty of incline and decline capability, which you don’t find often on residential treadmills.

The impressive warranty is stronger than most brands offer, which speaks to the quality of the components.

We were impressed by the innovative 22-inch belt, which is a major advantage for every user, amateur or professional.

As a wide belt can only be backed up by a serious motor, the F85 incorporates a powerful motor that runs smoothly at even the highest speeds.

This may be the most powerful motor there is for in-home use. In this department, Sole F85 is a top notch treadmill.

It also excels in the longevity department. Rollers can be an indication of how long your treadmill will live. Sole F85 relieves us of any doubt. The large rollers help the motor run almost silently at low speeds and ensure prolonged usage of this machine. Also, the belt will live long. Once again, 5 stars.

Speed and incline adjustments are seamless. The F85 lets you run comfortably while making any adjustments by using the handlebar controls. For us, this has been one of the key perks of this machine, especially since many of us train quite hard.

The display gives you all the information at once, which we appreciate. We find it a bit bothersome to press and scroll, mostly during high intensity workouts. This display takes this burden off of you.

Since it’s a very heavy machine, don’t think for a second that you’ll be able to move it around on your own.

We recommend that you find its place before getting it inside and try to move it as little as possible.

The speakers don’t excel as far as quality goes. Actually, they are a bit below medium quality.

It’s up to you how serious you think this problem is. For us, it’s not really an issue.

This is one of the best folding treadmills ever designed. We’ve seen this quality before, but not under $2,500.
