The Sole S73 Treadmill is a non folding treadmill that features a super powerful motor and generous running space. The S73 model is the non folding alternative of the F83 treadmill and the only difference between them is the smaller running space on S73 (S73 has a 55″ length belt while F83 has 58”).
The Sole S73 treadmill offers a great value for the money you spend with this acquisition and this is definitely one of the best buys for the $1000-$2000 price range.

Speed : 0-12 mph The S73 treadmill can reach a top speed of 12 mph, a value high enough for any user. The speed can be set by one touch via the side buttons.
Inclination : 0-15% This model features a great incline system that can reach a top value of 15 degrees. Now you can do hill workouts in best conditions.
Motor : The Sole S73 treadmill is equipped with a solid and powerful 3.0 CHP Motor (ultra high torque).
Belt : 20’’x60’’ This treadmill features a 20’’x60’’ running area and a double woven 2 ply-belt. The machine also comes with a Custom Flex Treadmill Deck.
Warranty : Sole offers a lifetime warranty for motor, frame and deck, 5 years for electronics, belt and rollers and 2 years for in house labor.

Heart Monitoring Systems
The Sole S73 treadmill features two heart monitoring systems. You have the heart rate control with wireless chest strap included and hand pulse grips.
Tri Color Display
The S73’s console comes with a vibrant Led Tri Color display that also includes a panel to provide feedback and directions. The machine gives you back information like speed, miles, time pulse or pace and a Peak and Valley graph if you are doing specific workouts.
Sound System
This machine features also a sound system with 2 built in speakers. You can easily connect your iPod (Mp3 player) through the mp3 dock.
The S73 model can support a maximum user weight of 350 lbs.
The following features and functions are also included: speed and incline controls on arm rest bars, a quick-release tether cord as a safety measure, cooling fans and six preset working programs.
Conclusions
The Sole S73 model features an impressive 3.0 CHP motor. It goes as high as 12 mph but at the same time it’s quiet and solid. The running space is generous and tall persons will be thrilled when they see the 60′ long belt.

Another strong feature is the warranty. You get lifetime for motor frame and deck. This is one of the best warranties you can get for a treadmill.
You also have to appreciate the console’s features. You get a decent sound system with built in sound speakers + mp3 dock to allow playing favorite tunes while working out.
We didn’t discover any serious problem with this machine. This treadmill has great value and from our point of view, it’s a very good acquisition. We highly recommend it and if you are not on a limited budget we also recommend taking a look at the Sole S77 model.
