The 9.65TV options
The Smooth 9.65TV Treadmil has the same options as 9.65LC, with some add-ons: a 10.5 inch LCD TV, a LED computer display and 55 built-in programs.
10.5 inch LCD TV
This feature comes for extra $ 400. It works well as effective motivational support. It is easy to use and it offers users the option to joggle workout with entertainment. It has integrated speakers and is large enough for you to watch news, sports, movies, TV shows, basically anything while running.
LED computer display
It displays the same feedback as 9.65LC: time, distance, heart rate, calories, speed and incline. It’s user-friendly and you have the handrail speed and incline controls that you can use at anytime to alter speed and incline during workout.
55 built-in programs
The additional 17 programs are a catch. You get 1 Manual, 3 Goal, 20 Speed, 30 Speed/ Incline and 1 Heart Rate Control program.
To use them, you have to follow the same steps as on the 9.65LC. The difference is that you have a much more workout variety and challenge.
Conclusions
The Smooth 9.65LC Treadmill and its upgraded version 9.65TV are some of the best treadmills we’ve seen lately. Ever since we first saw the lifetime warranty for parts we thought “Smooth is serious about this machine!” And indeed, it is. Every single component is of great quality. This machine can endorse any workout while you can rest assured you’re on good hands, or better said, on good belts.
Pros
With the 9.65LC and 9.65TV, Smooth went big on what truly matters: motor, running surface, cushioning.
Apart from the gym quality motor, Smooth added a running surface larger than the average. When you see a 21 x 64 running surface, you’re thinking “Is this real?”. Well, it is. When we’re talking about 4.0 CHP motors, it’s as real as it gets. Whether taller or heavier, you can work out as hard and as long as you want on the 9.65.
And while doing it, you don’t have to worry about safety. Not only this treadmill doesn’t move, no matter how high the speed or incline, but it also guarantees you’ll be feeling as good as new at the end of your workouts. We’ve had users with serious knee problems trying the 9.65 and they felt no discomfort whatsoever.
The 9.65LC comes with a serious pack of workouts and 9.65TV adds an extra 17. These are challenging, intense workouts that will indulge every avid runner. Given the serious fat burn you’ll be getting on this treadmill, it can only be efficient all-the-way if you monitor your progress, which you can do by inserting weight, age, sex and height. This way, you can receive an accurate feedback on your improvement.

Smooth 9.65TV Treadmill
Main attraction
It’s very important to use a treadmill that encourages you to stay focused. By adding the handlebar speed and incline controls, 9.65 just became better. It’s been of great help not having to press all those buttons during high intensity workouts. On 9.65, you can alter speed and incline without deviating from your workout.
If you’re worried about the extra pounds, you can stop. The 9.65 has one of the most powerful motors on the market. It can sustain up to 400 lbs, and may I add, without making any noise or creak or squeak.
The 9.65TV is the more entertaining copy of 9.65. For up to $400, you can get the TV feature, which may come in handy for those who like staying motivated while watching the news or favorite show.
The warranty is strong, so you shouldn’t worry about the longevity of this machine. The 9.65 was definitely built to last.
Drawbacks
On the flipside, treadmills with TV are not always a good purchase. If the treadmill moves, the TV moves. If repeated, it may lead to TV damage and thus, the extra dollars you paid for the TV go down the drain.
The good thing is that the 9.65TV is a solid, still treadmill, so the TV shouldn’t be affected. But you can never be sure. Just as a heads-up, if you don’t need the TV that hard, go with the 9.65LC. Sure, 9.65TV looks like a sweet deal, with the TV and extra workouts, if you are really keen on entertainment.
All in all, the 9.65 is one of the best gym quality treadmills on the market and we warmly recommend it to anyone interested in a good home treadmill.
