Is iFit a treadmill brand?
Not exactly. iFit is the interactive workout platform (made by iFIT Inc., formerly ICON Health & Fitness) that runs on its own treadmill brands — NordicTrack, ProForm and Freemotion. When people shop for an "iFit treadmill," they mean an iFit-enabled machine from one of those brands.
Do I need an iFit subscription to use the treadmill?
No. iFit-enabled treadmills run in manual mode without a membership, and ProForm models include around 50 onboard workouts. But iFit Pro ($39/month) is what unlocks the trainer-led classes and SmartAdjust auto incline/speed that these machines are built around. New machines include a 30-day trial that then auto-renews unless you cancel.
