Horizon T1201 it’s a $1,000 machine that impresses with its futuristic design.
After testing it, we believe it’s pretty obvious the machine is built for regular users who want to run on it 3-4 hours a week.
You have little preset programs, but you can use the iPod dock to entertain yourself.
We recommend you take a look at the specs below to get an idea of what you have included if you buy this treadmill.

Features
7 Programs Option
The console includes 3 preset workouts: Weight Loss, Event Training and Cardio Training. There are 4 custom workouts available to be designed and saved by the user.
Speakers With iPod and MP3 Dock
User Feedback
There are 2 large red LED feedback windows and 1 additional communication window for easy navigation. It’s easy to see the time and the distance ran.
Contact hand grips
You have contact Hand Grips included which will read your heart rate and display it on the Console.
It does not have:
Fan, Wireless Heart Rate and Chest Strap
Conclusions
Horizon T1201 can be used to train a few hours a week, but that is it.
Advantages:
– It’s a folding treadmill and this makes it easier to store in your home.
– It has a futuristic design so it can give a modern appearance to the place where you decide to store it.
– It has a powerful motor and it’s silent enough to allow you to listen to music, have a conversation or just to enjoy some time with your thoughts.
– The display is easy to follow and you have easy access to speed and incline change (MyIncline and MySpeed keys are helpful too).
– You can connect your iPod and control it from the Panel.
– You can listen to music on headphones.
– You have a decent protection of your joints with the 3 zone Cushion System installed on the belt.
– The belt is large enough to sustain tall persons also and make them feel comfortable.
– And you get an easy to read and complete manual with instructions about how to assemble the machine and also how to use it (including the few workout tips)
Disadvantages
– If you are a long-distance runner, you can’t use it.
– Workouts are very limited. You have only 3 predefined workouts and 4 custom ones that you can save.
– There is no fan included
– The cushion system is good, but it’s not great
A good treadmill, but not good enough to recommend it.
