Best Features

Roomy Belt For Taller Users

One of the main advantages of the L8 over the Landice L7 is the larger belt size.

It is 22″ wide x 63″ long, giving you much more room to spread out. Compare this to the 20″ x 58″ belt of the L7 and you can really see the difference.

Although the L7 is just fine for most users, taller users will definitely appreciate the roominess of the L8.

Console Selection

Just like on the L7 model, you get the choice of four different consoles to customize your machine.

There’s the Pro Trainer Control Panel, with three LED windows, 5 built in workouts, 2 user programs and contact/wireless heart rate.

Moving up you have the ProSports Control Panel with express incline and speed keys and 5 user programs.

You then have the Cardio Control Panel, which is similar to the ProSports console but adds special heart rate programs to the mix.

Lastly, you have the top-of-the-line Executive Control Panel, with a 9″ screen, built in maps, Bluetooth connectivity for fitness apps and increased workout programs.

As you move up, the costs increase, but it’s nice that you can choose the features you want.

Advanced Shock Absorption System

The Landice L8 treadmill features the company’s renowned VFX Absorption System, one of the most advanced impact reduction technologies you’ll find, even on commercial-grade models.

This reduces pain and injuries, allowing for a more enjoyable workout experience with less health risks.

Other Great Features

You also get a strong, yet quiet 4.0 CHP motor, power incline up to 15%, a 500 lb. max user weight capacity, water bottle holders, heart rate monitoring, accessory tray and tablet holder.

Conclusion

Pros

The Landice L8 is a workhorse that will provide years of use with very little maintenance required.

It’s solidly constructed with the most advanced cushioning, incline capability, console choices, strong motor, large runner’s deck and safety features.

It also has a lifetime parts warranty, which you will not find elsewhere.

Drawbacks

There are no real drawbacks to the L8 other than the fact that it is expensive. For example, the Landice L8 with the Executive Panel will cost around $6000 or so, so it’s certainly a pricey choice.

Also, only the Executive model comes with a touch screen, the others do not.

Bottom Line

If you’re looking for a really well made treadmill that will last a lifetime and keep you injury free, the Landice L8 is a great choice, especially if you are on the taller side.

If not, you can save a little money and go for the less expensive L7 model.
