Conclusions
The Star Trac S-TRc treadmill is an absolute beast of a machine. With 5 HP and a maximum weight of 500 pounds, it can stand up to absolutely any kid of workout from the most serious runner. If you don’t need quite so much power you’ll be just fine with the Star Trac S-TRx model. Let’s look at some pros and cons…
Pros
As we mentioned above, this treadmill has a super powerful motor. You have SoftTrac cushioning which is as good as it gets for shock absorption. You have a huge running surface. You have the included Polar chest strap for accurate heart rate readings. Together these features make the S-TRc a great option if you have the money to spend.
Drawbacks
This is a heavy machine, at 533 lbs, so don’t expect to be moving it around by yourself. Pick a spot for it before it is delivered and be happy with the fact that it will likely stay in that spot forever.
It doesn’t have all of the entertainment features included, such as touchscreen, Star Trac Coach system and Netpulse on-demand. For that you have to upgrade to one of the E-Series models.
If you’re interested in buying a new Star Trac S-TRc treadmill, definitely check them out at Amazon first as you will find better pricing as well as free shipping on the treadmills.
