Today we’re sharing Run Reviews reader Joseph A’s experience with a WELLFIT treadmill. Joseph contacted us after running into an assembly issue with his new treadmill and having difficulty getting the problem resolved.

Joseph’s Experience

AVOID WELLFIT TREADMILLS!

Our treadmill cannot be assembled because the part that receives the bolt holding a side pole to the console did not align due to a manufacturing defect.

I spent a few weeks emailing photos and videos to WELLFIT. They did not know what to do and don’t send a repair service to the house. First, they wanted me to tape one of the two poles that are supposed to support the treadmill. They then offered me a $200 discount on the $850 machine and wanted me to have it repaired locally at my own expense.

I opened a credit card dispute, insisting on a full refund and a return postage-paid label as promised when the treadmill was purchased.

The WELLFIT offer looked fantastic, but based on my experience, the customer service, warranty and return process did not live up to my expectations.
