NordicTrack C2155 – 2008

Overview
IMPORTANT: This model is no longer being sold. We recommend browsing through our latest NordicTrack treadmill reviews to find a new treadmill with the latest technology.
At first glance it seems that the NordicTrack C2155 is one of the best treadmills you can buy for $850. It comes with a spacious running zone and adjustable cushioning, pretty good preset workouts, an iFit card slot and an iPod Dock.
The treadmill’s sound system works well, but don’t expect to receive the best quality.
Some users have complained about the CardioGrip™ Heart Rate Monitor not being accurate. We’ve noticed this too and we consider it a serious minus. Another disadvantage is the heaviness of the machine. You cannot move it without at least 2 people helping you.
Overall, the machine works very well, it is extremely quiet and it’s worth the $800 you pay for it.

Grafixx Hi-Resolution Display

Conclusions
This is a decent machine, but it has its downs. For example assembly takes around 2 hours, if you follow the manual directions carefully. If you miss one step, you have to start over from the beginning.
The heart monitor sensor is inaccurate, which makes the heart reading annoying and useless.
But even so, for 800$ you get a good treadmill on which you can run enough miles for a couple of years.
