Conclusions

The Livestrong LS8.0T is a surprisingly powerful yet inexpensive machine. It’s one of the best buys in the $500 – $1,000 price range, succeeding in gathering quality, functionality, variety and a significantly low price of $800. It is great not having to compromise on quality in order to not break the bank for a good treadmill.

Pros

This treadmill is best suited for users determined to workout intensely and consistently. The running surface allows taller users to benefit from this machine, but not necessarily heavier, at least not heavier than 325 lbs. This is the main drawback of this otherwise impressive machine.

The motor is not the most powerful, but powerful enough to endorse the 9 available workouts. Not only this machine is powerful, but also sturdy and stable, which is something you wouldn’t expect from a folding treadmill.

The adjustable cushioning entails injury-free workouts. It’s amazing how our bodies feel no stress whatsoever after ending intense cardio. Being allowed to increase or decrease firmness according to your own body is a massive perk.

The built-in workouts give us prolonged and intense training. With a high maximum incline and the 12 mph maximum speed, what you have on your hands is a one way ticket to high performance.

The fizzle

The fizzle with the LS8.0T are the patented Livestrong Fitness Journal and Livestrong Interactive. Lifestrong Interactive allows you to access Lance training techniques, which is a great asset. Our workouts were enhanced by this training plan. Those looking to go beyond their current cardio raining will benefit a lot from the Livestrong Interactive.

And when you’re done for the day, just store the workout data with the Livestrong Fitness Journal. This feature has helped us track our performance in such fashion that we notably improved it over time.

This model provides the cooling fan, the iPod and iPhone compatible speakers and the easy folding. The warranty backs up this machine, making it one of the best present deals.

Weak points

Still, you can’t insert age and weight for more accurate calorie count nor can you use this machine if you’re over 325 lbs. And the warranty is a little poor.

All in all, the Livestrong LS8.0T is by far a catch for its price and features. For more details you can visit the official page at Livestrong Fitness.
