Livestrong LS12.9T

Overview
**UPDATE** Johnson Health Tech is no longer selling exercise equipment under the LIVESTRONG name. For comparable treadmills read our Horizon treadmill reviews.
Livestrong LS12.9T is the more advanced version of LS9.9T treadmill. We had the opportunity to review both of them so we could understand better the difference between these 2 models.
LS12.9T’s cost is $1,300, $400 more than LS9.9T. The price difference is high so the new features this model comes with should really worth your money.
For who the difference really matters and why you would choose this treadmill instead of the LS9.9T version ($900 cost), you’ll find in our conclusions.

Conclusions
LS12.9T is definitely an irresistible offer. This treadmill is one of the best offers you can buy for this money.
What impressed us the most is the warranty you receive with this treadmill. You’ll not find a better version for the same price.
There is a simple explanation of this irresistible offer. Being new on the market, Johnson had to stand in front with something new when launching the Livestrong brand. They certainly did this very well.
For a frequent exerciser with budget $1,000 – $1,500 this is the right machine to buy.
For those who weigh 250-300 lbs and are interested in losing weight this is definitely a machine worth your money.
This is not a treadmill for ultra runners or for multiple users (not more than 2 people should train on it daily).
We recommend the treadmill to all those above for a few basic and simple reasons: strong motor, long belt, more realistic weight loss workouts (with the target heart rate workouts added), excellent warranty.
The target heart rate workouts are more efficient for weight loss because they are based on your target heart rate and keep the treadmill’s incline and speed automatically within this limit. But pay attention: you have to select your target heart rate from a table, which you can find on the Internet. If you know you may suffer from any heart problem consult your doctor first of all. He will tell you what your heart rate target should be when working out. The wireless chest strap comes in handy for this type of exercise.
The motor is very strong which enables you to do some running exercises on this treadmill at high speed. We highly appreciated the HR Interval workouts. The cushion system is still not the best but it’s efficient for this belt length (60 inches) and it’s in the standard quality for this price range.
The other features are the same with those on LS9.9T.
While we tested it, the treadmill performed very well. It’s definitely a big and heavy treadmill; you feel its strength from the moment you start working out. Although it can be hard to move around it’s comfortable to use.
Livestrong LS12.9T is a promising model and the warranty guarantees its features. Based on our experience so far we know some new things work best in the first production series, when the offer is first launched and then the manufacturer starts decreasing quality to have a better profit. Only time will tell if this rule applies for Livestrong treadmills too. But for what it offers with its first series, it works perfectly for the money paid.
