Conclusions

After 1 week of intensive training on the NordicTrack Reflex TR treadmill I can only say: WOW. My knees, my feet, my joints – all are so happy!

If you read on a website a review saying something like: “the deck on this machine is worth its weight in gold”, well you can believe them. It’s all so true! When running and running and running and not get tired, then this must be a gold machine.
But it’s not only that. The treadmill is very silent. The motor it’s powerful but you don’t hear it. This is why it’s easy to watch TV or listen to music when working out.

Workouts included in the machine are various. We tried them all: aerobic, weight loss, performance, heart rate and even the Custom and Save ones. The Personal Trainer programs change the machine’s incline and speed automatically (which makes it a very easy to use treadmill). Plus, the Heart Rate workouts function with the handgrips sensors which are very accurate from what we’ve noticed.
We also like that it’s iFIT Card compatible. We train often with iFIT workouts and we recommend them to all interested in starting an intensive training program (split in 8 weeks, for example). It does miracles.

Our friend, who has been using the treadmill for longer than us, confirms he is very satisfied with this machine. After almost 6 months of intensive usage (because he is the kind of trainer who would rather run 10 miles a day rather than going out to a fast food and enjoy himself) our friend confirms his 100% satisfied.

It’s also correct the money invested are not so little ($3,000 are not in everyone’s pocket).
But for a professional trainer who prefers treadmills to do the daily exercises, NordicTrack Reflex TR is a valid option!

Not sure what differentiates this from the Nordic Track 1500 commercial which I have had for about 2 1/2 years. Bought at Costco for only $800 it performs like any professional model I have ever run on. I can do intervals, hills, etc. Never a problem. Appears to be very close to the same machine in most aspects. And if fact the 1500 looks to be built better. Steel frame etc.

    Hi Scott,

It’s very probable to be true. We never tried the 1500 model. If you know the features from the 1500 model but you notice some improvements on this one then you have the same treadmill but as a new model.

It’s great to hear you’ve had a good experience with the 1500 model (and the price was good too for 2 1/2 years ago, altough still not little money).

    All the best,
