Conclusions

The CYBEX 770T is yet another advanced treadmill, foremost designed for commercial use. Sure, you can buy the 770T for yourself and set up a mini gym in your own apartment, but only if you have $ 7 500 to spare. Otherwise, you can fully benefit from this premium treadmill at the gym. You won’t have to rob a bank in order to do so, that’s for sure.

Pros

The primary reason why you should consider using the CYBEX 770T is the incredibly powerful motor that provides the power and stability for any user who wants to walk, jog, run or engage in more challenging workouts. A motor this powerful is quite demanding, so you can be sure you’re in for an intense workout experience. And if you conclude that it doesn’t suit your needs, no worries, just change the treadmill. This is one advantage you get for using gym treadmills.

Then, there is the running surface. No user should worry about their height or weight, as long as it doesn’t exceed 400 lbs/ 181 kg. Another plus in the comfort category.

The ARMZ technology is an insurance of protection and self confidence. You’re in for a secure and comfortable ride. At first we were’n too excited about this feature, we thought it was just another buzz for nothing. I guess first impressions aren’t always convincing.

Not to mention the array of workouts that is satisfying, to say the least. Any challenge you may seek, it will be thrivingly fulfilled by these demanding workouts. Well, as demanding as you please. Incline and speed adjustments reside in your hands. Literally. You have speed and incline controls right next to the heart rate grips. Convenient, wouldn’t you say?

Challenge and cool off come hand in hand. As tough the demand is on this treadmill, as powerful is the cooling fan. And the warranty is just an insurance this treadmill is built to last. But unless you’re willing to spend the “extra” $7.500 on this unit, the warranty package is dismissible.

Main attraction

The buzz with this treadmill is that it has a CardioTouch display that offers a single command center for every exercise program and entertainment control. It’s quite cool, this feature. Especially if you’re an entertainment addict.

But most of all, we like the suspension gear. Once you’ve set foot on this treadmill, you can rest assured you won’t feel any stress or injury once you’re done or during the workout. Our workouts are smooth, comfortable, safe, no impact, no shock whatsoever. Quite a hardware catch.

Drawbacks

We can’t seem to identify any flaw with this treadmill, at least not up to the point we are writing this review.

To conclude, the 770T is a machine built for users who like a good challenge, but also for those who are interested in plain jogging or walking. It costs almost as much as a brand new car, but luckily gyms appear like mushrooms once the rain is over, so you can benefit from this treadmill as fast and as much as you desire. I use this machine almost daily at my local YMCA. I think the machine is very sweet but compared to other machines it seems that the speed at 6 mph differs from machine to machine. Id expect that this being a newer model that this one would be more accurate. Also the track is nice and wide.

I ran on the Cybex 770t tonight at my gym and found it to run about me about 40 seconds longer per mile over a six mile run. This was compared to my Garmin forerunner 50 that I’ve used for three years and many races. My per mile pace according to my Garmin was approx 8:30 mile pace, after six miles & 53 minutes, I would’ve had to continue running for an additional 4 minutes to reach six miles on the treadmill.

@J – your comment is very interesting. We haven’t made a comparison test yet, but we will try it. Thank you! And happy running!
