ProForm is one of the most known treadmill brands. The company started with producing treadmills only. After a few years they expanded and included in their offer other fitness equipment.
Our experience brought us face to face with different ProForm models. We had the opportunity to test a relevant number of ProForm treadmills before we made an opinion about this brand. See more details below.
Company Overview

ProForm is another company owned by the giant fitness manufacturer Icon Health and Fitness which controls brands like NordicTrack, HealthRider, Epic, Image, Reebok and a few others.
ProForm is probably the most popular brand when it comes to home treadmills. They control this market niche because they are very old in this business and because they’ve always produced affordable treadmills which are usually bought by home trainers.
Proform Treadmill Reviews: Strengths
Affordable
ProForm treadmills have prices between 400$ and 1300$. This is one of the most important strengths: they are affordable. Many treadmill buyers look for budget solutions and this is exactly what ProForm offers.
Innovation
Most of ProForm treadmills have several innovative features and functions. We highly recommend the models with iFit card technology or Competition Training Center & meal plans. The CrossWalk Series comes with upper body arms that allow you to train the upper body while doing the regular cardio training.
Proform Treadmill Reviews: Weaknesses
Not for Heavy Trainers
The ProForm treadmills have the advantage to be quite affordable but this comes with some loss in product quality. You have to remember that most ProForm Treadmills are budget machines. A 600$ product will not keep up with a heavy trainer or runner but at the same time it can easily satisfy a light trainer.
Warranty
The low level models have only 90 days warranty for parts and labor. Top models have 1 year warranty for parts and labor. The warranty periods are too short and this is why you should buy the extended warranty to make sure your initial investment is protected for at least 2-3 years .
