If your intentions are to lose weight, Bowflex TreadClimber TC10 is one of the most effective machines you can find on the market. This is an updated version of the Bowflex Treadclimber, but with a better design and improved usability. The price hasn't changed ($2200), but its efficiency hasn't either. Livestrong LSPRO2 Treadmill continues to be an appealing choice for the beginning of 2012. This is an upgraded treadmill version launched by Livestrong at the end of 2011, with advanced entertainment options. What attracts us most at this treadmill is the new Passport Media Player. You will find all about it in our review. Although it is a little pricier than what we would expect to pay for a Livestrong home treadmill ($2000), this machine is a strong competitor, and it will attract many runners.

The Sole F80 2011 Version is a treadmill we warmly recommend. Treadmill users have received this upgraded machine from Sole with enthusiasm, and that is why we've chosen it as a Best Buy for 2011 and 2012. It has a smooth, but powerful motor, a user friendly display and adjustable cushioning. This is a terrific deal if we take into consideration the price paid ($1500) and the value received. Although it does not have advanced workouts, or an interactive solution included in the console, this model is extremely reliable and durable.

Yowza is a brand we've recently started to explore here at RunReviews. The Yowza Fitness-Siesta Treadmill in particular has succeeded to get our full attention. For $1000 only you receive a satisfactory treadmill, recommended for light jogging and running. You don't need to spend a lot of money if you only plan to use a treadmill with moderation. With the updates added at the end of 2011, Precor 2.7 treadmill has become a very attractive treadmill, especially now that it comes with a lower price than its predecessor version (now it's $2000). The main attraction is the patented cushioning system launched by Precor only. Another detail that makes this brand so attractive is that Precor offers the same quality for the belt, motor, frame, rollers with all their treadmills. You get the same durability as you would receive with a Premium Series model (that costs over $4000), but for less money and with fewer features in the console.
