The NordicTrack A2550 is the better version of the NordicTrack A2350 treadmill. It has a tread belt with 6 inches wider and offers more room to walk or run.

The NordicTrack A2550’s console comes with a Fitness Age Center that allows calculating the real fitness age so you can know how to get younger and improve your fitness level.

This treadmill features a Custom Workout Center that lets you preset the workout time and speed you want. Along with these two electronic features you get also the iFit Workout Card Technology.

Club-Design CardioGrip™ Heart Rate Monitor

The following features are also included: ifit Workout Card Technology, Fitness Age Center, Custom Workout Center, Training Zone Indicator and AirLight Shock with Self-Locking Latch.

Conclusions For NordicTrack A2550 Treadmill Review

Obviously the main advantage of the A2550 unit is the 22’’ wide belt. This belt gives extra space and makes jogging more comfortable. For a machine that costs 999$ this is a serious advantage.

We also appreciate the electronic features: Fitness Age Center, Custom Workout center or the iFit Workout Card Technology. With these training sessions are less boring.

As plus points the unit is fold able, allows plugging in the iPod and can be used by heavier persons. As a minus you get a short warranty for parts.

With a lifetime warranty for frame and motor, plus a 325 lbs max weight this becomes a pretty decent treadmill. It’s not something we would recommend to dedicated trainers but it’s a good solution for light joggers.
