Features

Display Info

The T3 is compatible with the latest 2 consoles, the Go Console and the Track + Console. The Go console is most beneficial to users who want to have on hand a wide array of programming options, prior to starting a fitness program.

The Track + console is focused on high-end customization, tracking options and entertainment features, and connects to your mobile device. As you workout, the console will track the number of calories burned, distance, speed, incline, time, heart rate, target heart rate, pace, METs. The LCD with Blue Background and white characters display also offers info on USB connection, iPod connection and your workout profile. It is compatible with LFConnect, Life Fitness’ custom workout creator.

The workout feedback display is a 16-character message center, which means you’ll have no trouble checking your performance while working out.

The Low/ Med/ High button changes the belt’s incline immediately to a preset value.

The Walk/ Jog/ Run button changes the speed to a preset value.

Heart Rate Info

You can check your heart rate by using the hand sensors or the wireless heart rate monitoring system.

Conclusions

The Life Fitness T3 is a monster treadmill. This machine was built for users who want to get the most out of their workouts. It’s pricey, especially if you opt for the Track + console, but you do get what you pay for.

Pros

Where should I start? Enhanced programming? Full tracking? Quality entertainment?

First off, walkers, joggers, runners, avid runners, each and every one of them will be satisfied with this machine. A powerful motor, a stable frame, baked up by quality components are the backbone of this treadmill.

Only quality cushioning can stand next to a motor as powerful as the one T3 has. All of us were fully satisfied with our workouts.

This treadmill may as well replace the old saying “No pain, no gain” with “Less pain, more gain”. And to ensure that you continue to benefit from the cushioning, it’s backed up by a lifetime warranty. Convinced yet?

No? Then, let me tell you about the Track + console. This console is ready for any request you may have. It was built for high end programming, tracking and entertainment. A great package that any running enthusiast will appreciate, especially when they will see on their own how smooth everything works and how easy-to-use this console is.

The workouts are not bad either: diversity and challenge, this is what you’ll be getting. And on top of everything, 4 user profiles can be created at the same time, each with the possibility of creating up to 3 custom workouts. Quite a pamper for marathoners.

A nice sound with iPod compatibility will maintain your motivation when the incline reaches 15%. And the wireless heart rate transmitter is always a major plus.

Main attraction

The cushioning is definitely the key attraction to this unit. Then, there is the Virtual Trainer, a tool that helps you track your performance.

Not to mention, the high quality of the components is definitely worthy of highlight.

Drawbacks

The package with the Track Console is just around $3000. Well, “less pain, more $, more gain”. But if you would rather buy a car with the money, you definitely should.

All in all, if you can afford it, the Life Fitness T3 treadmill is a great choice for those who pretty much want a gym machine right in their own home. It’s built to withstand years of heavy use, while offering an impact-reducing running belt and loads of great features.

Keep in mind that it does not fold, so if you are interested in a folding treadmill check out the very similar F3 model.
